Be Her Manifesto
Dream. Create. Become. With God.
I believe I can belong completely to God
without disappearing. I believe surrender is not the death of desire,
but the invitation to bring my desires into relationship with Him.
I can dream.
I can create.
I can make plans.
I can set goals.
I DON'T HAVE TO SHRINK
TO BE SURRENDERED.
I will give God my dreams without pretending I don't have them.
I will make plans while leaving room for His redirection.
I will pursue purpose without making an idol of achievement.
I will develop the gifts He placed within me instead of diminishing them in the name of humility.
I will care for my spirit.
I will care for my mind.
I will care for my body.
I will establish boundaries.
I will rest without guilt.
I will try new things.
I will allow myself to change.
I CAN BE SURRENDERED
AND STILL HAVE DESIRES.
I will not confuse fear with wisdom or hiding with humility.
I will have the courage to outgrow places, patterns, and versions of myself
that no longer fit where God is leading me.
I will not measure my becoming against another woman's journey.
I will honor the pace, process, and path God has given me.
I will let Him heal what needs healing, challenge what needs changing,
and awaken what has been dormant.
BECOMING REQUIRES
MY PARTICIPATION.
God orders my steps, but I still have to walk them.
I will pray—and move.
I will trust—and build.
I will surrender—and create.
I will hold my plans with open hands, knowing His wisdom is greater than mine.
And when He redirects me, I will trust that redirection is not rejection.
I am allowed to become more disciplined.
More courageous.
More creative.
More whole.
More fully alive.
I am free to discover the woman God intentionally created me to be.
CHRIST ENHANCES MY LOVELY.
Becoming more like Him doesn't require becoming less of me.
The closer I walk with Christ, the freer I become to live as the woman
He created me to be.
I don't have to choose between surrender and becoming.
I can become with Him.
And I will.
